Top Five Educational Websites That Are Fun Too
The internet holds a wealth of information, shopping opportunities, and news. It is a treasure trove of sites that have changed the way we do research, the way we keep up with current events, and the way we entertain ourselves. For young people, there are a few web sites that stand out as great places to have fun, while honing skills in math, science, literacy, and more. These are educational sites that actually fun to visit.
FunBrain
At FunBrain.com, kids (and fun loving adults) can access a wide variety of arcade style games that are fun and educational. These games instill solid skills in math and reading, while engaging the player with fun strategic game play. Games include Math and Reading Arcade, Math Baseball, and more. Kids can also read books online here or enjoy a comic book. The site is beautifully graphic with clear lines, bright colors, and engaging characters.
NASA Kids Club
